RACE WRAP

Another hugely successful MTB Wagga 6 hour Enduro and Dash for Cash has been ridden and completed for another year by 173 riders. Most people had a smile on their face as they came through transition and from all reports everyone was friendly and courteous out on the track.

Thanks to those who travelled from as far away as Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong, Bateman’s Bay, Orange, Parkes, Albury, Bright, Mt Beauty, Tumut, Southern Highlands and anywhere else I may have missed. I hope you enjoyed it and will be back for more next year, bringing with you more of your friends.

A huge thanks to everyone on the Race Committee for your long and tireless efforts over the last 6 months with the planning and pulling together of our club’s main event. Thanks also to those club members and volunteers who helped out with setting and packing up or with marshalling and timing on the day. A special thanks to our Tumut friends for their support and we look forward to returning the favour at the Tumut 3 Hour on 25/4/10.

If when you have all returned home safely and you have any feedback you would like to give, please drop us an email at enquiry@mtbwagga.asn .au.

Thanks again to all riders, support crew, volunteers, sponsors and race committee for making this a great event. It’s also  good news for our injured rider who was taken to hospital by ambulance. After numerous scans, he was cleared of any serious injuries  and was discharged by late afternoon to head home.
